Who makes all this stuff? Well, it’s just me, Kimmie Blake. Ever since I was little I have always loved jewelry. I love things that sparkle, look really cool, or match that hard to find color in my favorite outfit. I started making jewelry in Junior High. Through lots of trial and error have become quite good at what I do. Most of what I have learned about jewelry design comes from experimenting and reading a lot of books and magazines. I now work mainly with Sterling silver. I love the way it looks, shines, and goes with practically everything. I’m originally from Biloxi, MS, and now reside in Metairie, LA with my husband, Tim, and our new baby girl Savannah Grace, who was born 2 weeks after the Hurricane on 9-11!! Before Hurricane Katrina I was working out of our home in Metairie, LA. Now my ‘studio’ is a little smaller, it’s actually the little table in our FEMA trailer in our back yard. So, needless to say your purchase is greatly appreciated and is helping us put our home and life back together.
